Kris Pence, LLPC, received his Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Indiana Wesleyan University and a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Western Michigan University. He is currently working on a PhD in Counselor Education from Western Michigan University.
Prior to becoming a counselor Kris spent more than a decade teaching in higher education. As both a teacher and therapist he has a proven ability to meet people where they are at and walk along side them as they journey through both joyful and stressful seasons of life. As a Professional Counselor, Kris brings a collaborative, hopeful and strengths-focused approach to therapy. He offers a calming voice in times of turbulence and empowering perspective on how to work through life’s challenging moments as they happen.
Kris has particular interest and experience journeying with men striving to overcome being controlled by sexual desires, the use of pornography, and other addictive behaviors. He also spends time working with individuals and couples struggling with communication, relational wounds, resolving conflict, and marital commitment.
