Colleague Professional Reviews
“I am pleased to offer my highest recommendation for Leah Martonosi, as a Social Worker and Therapist. I had the opportunity to witness her participation in a 6-week class on Emotions and Emotional Healing. Leah’s sensitive, caring and timely insights, plus expertise, gave the women confidence to address their hurts and emotional wounds openly and find healing.”

“I’ve known Leah for about 10years. She came to a Celebrate Recovery meeting and was a faithful attendee who progressed into leadership. Leah was always coming beside someone and walking with him or her as they learned how to overcome issues in their lives. She was always concerned about others and willing to share her own struggles to help encourage others so that they could rise above and become helped/healed themselves. She has a strong passion for giving people hope for their lives. Leah was a tremendous help to our team of leaders. She was always a thoughtful listener and offered constructive/positive solutions. I always appreciated her kind and loving heart for others. I would recommend Leah to anyone without hesitation. She has a huge heart for helping others and wanting only the best for everyone.”

"I began therapy with Leah in September of this year and in just a short few months she has already given me priceless support and guidance. I have grown leaps and bounds since joining her practice. I can truly attest that Leah is a kind and thoughtful therapist who takes her job very seriously. She offers a perspective that is attentive and thought provoking. I have taken tools that she has taught me and used them to help me in real life situations. My positive experiences with Leah, leads me to highly recommend her to anyone looking for extra help getting by in this world."
"Leah has been outstanding. I have worked with other social workers and therapists and have not been able to find the quality of insight that Leah has offered in any of them. She has helped me to find balance in my personal and professional life and given me unbiased objectives to work on and over come as I try to juggle the many stresses in life. Her personality is charming and welcoming but most importantly she creates a safe place for me to work through my emotions. When dealing with relationship and parenting stresses it is hard to find time or even a desire to work on yourself as an individual and Leah has made it possible for me. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for balance or help creating an action plan to get through whatever it is that they are going through. Her professionalism and empathic nature promotes self love and value in the wants and needs that are often overlooked."
"I started going to Leah after I got into a horrible Motorcycle accident. I felt lost, confused and not sure what to do. I had this brain injury and wanted a therapist to help me understand. That’s when I found my amazing therapist Leah! She has helped me in so many ways since I started seeing her. She has helped me understand my injury more and help me work through life. She gives you tools to use when you are having a bad day. She always gives you homework to work on. She is always upbeat, in a good make and makes sure you are ok! I would tell anyone to go to Leah in a heartbeat! She has changed my life and is the real deal. Best Therapist Ever! Thank You for everything you have done!"
“Leah has worked with my wife and myself over this past year with individual and couple's counseling to increase our communication that has helped strengthen our marriage of over 25 years.
For those considering counseling, please be aware that this is like a gym membership, you have to show up and do the work, think of the metaphor of 'what you put into something is exactly what you get out of it'. Leah is a good counselor and spectacular guide to help couple's re-connect.“
“I was very skeptical about going to therapy until I met Leah Martonosi. In the past year and a half I’ve learned more about myself than I ever thought I would. She has taught me how to solve problems, lower stress, and create boundaries in what would otherwise be toxic relationships. Every time I visit her office I almost feel like I’m going to see an old friend because of how open and non-judgmental she is. Leah respects my opinions and morals while also giving me solid advice for how to go through life. She is a fantastic therapist and I don’t know where I would be without her. I definitely look forward to our visits every other week!”
“Going through therapy with Leah has been one of the most rewarding experiences I've ever had. I began this year really struggling with depression and anxiety, and Leah was absolutely instrumental in helping me navigate it. She has given me practical tools to help manage anxiety when it comes, as well as helping me identify ways to more effectively take care of myself. My pattern of thinking has completely changed for the better. Leah is incredibly professional, yet has the natural ability to create a warm, welcoming, and safe environment. I felt incredibly comfortable with her right away. I always feel listened to and understood. I would recommend Leah as a counselor time and time again!”
“I’ve been struggling for years with different things from my past which has really affected my present. I was on anxiety meds for years and finally had enough. I’ve been medication free since September 2017, but it wasn’t until i started seeing Leah this July that I really learned valuable skills to manage my anxiety without medication. She has helped me so much in such a short amount of time. I look forward to our sessions and I appreciate all her insights and honesty. It helps that she is relatable as well. I don’t feel alone in what I’m feeling and experiencing in life and I think that’s a big deal. Because don’t we all just want someone who listens, cares, but also actually can relate? If you’re looking for that then Leah is just the lady for you!”
“Six months ago, I first stepped into Leah’s office-completely broken and depressed. I had no self-confidence, no strength. I was at one of the lowest points I have ever reached. I had given up on life in a lot of ways. Over the course of six months, Leah listened and gave direction where she could see things in my life that I couldn’t. She encouraged me to look more at my relationship with God, and to draw strength and confidence from that. She helped me look at the root issues that got me to where I was at and not just what I was dealing with in the moment. She helped me to look into bigger picture things in my life. Things that I chose not to deal with because I wanted to bury the hurt and pain instead of confront it. Today, life isn’t perfect; but life is good. Thank you Leah for the light and guidance you continue to shine into my life and help me grow!”
“In the 8 months of counseling I have had with Leah she has patiently helped me and guided me through one of the most difficult times of my life. Leah's insightful and astute advice has enabled me to live a significantly healthier and happier life, and has aided me in better understanding myself and the root cause of my struggles. She exudes empathy and compassion, and she is incredibly understanding and kind. Leah provides a safe and welcoming atmosphere that allows me to feel comfortable opening up to her and she imparts a sound and Godly perspective each and every session. I unreservedly recommend her to anyone searching for a Christlike and competent counselor!"
I had been looking for a good therapist for years when I found Leah. Now I have found an incredible therapist! Not only did she understand exactly how I needed to be approached, but she also has the personal experiences to know exactly what I have been going through. In the two years I have been seeing her, it is still amazing every time how much I feel I am growing and understanding myself after each session. I tend to be someone to not do very well at getting homework done, and she doesn’t force it on me. I truly feel she knows what I need and will do everything she can to help me in the way I need it. I am eternally grateful to have her be part of the journey of my life!”
